Infographic
CHALLENGE
Create an infographic that helps people understand new disability laws in Jordan to present to the prince of Jordan as a thank-you for attending the Harkin International Disability Summit in 2018.
PROCESS
First, I worked with public policy interns to understand the translated version of the legislation as it was originally in arabic. I then took the key points of the legislation and tried to represent them visually while using the colors of the Jordanian flag. The final step was working with other students and a professor to translate my document into Arabic.
OUTCOMES
I was able to present the infographic at the Harkin Summit. This process gave me insight into making complicated ideas accessible to a wide audience as well as learning how to visually represent them.
