This presentation from Spanish for Business was about the economic implications of coffee production in Colombia. focusing on the effects of supply, demand, and international actors on the Colombian economy. It occurred at the beginning of the Spanish for Business course as a way of presenting current business news to the class.  The presentation challenged me explain concepts and use vocabulary that I was not familiar with. In the process, I learned about the business and economics of coffee production in Colombia and transmitted that information to my class.

I chose this presentation as a more current sample of my presentational speaking skills. The presentation shows that I can formally communicate complex ideas in an organized manner while using varied vocabulary. Although I do have a few moments in which I make a mistake in pronunciation or conjugation, I feel that I did a good job of going back and correcting myself in the moment. This shows that I am cognizant of what I am saying in the moment, rather than reciting a memorized presentation.
